Most hotels in the country are PWD friendly. It is required by law. Ramps are
constructed for accessibility. Wheelchairs are available if needed. The staff are
friendly.
I got the chance to stay at Lima Park Hotel recently because of
work. When the hotel learned of my condition, they booked me in a special room,
a room specially designed for PWDs.
Welcome to Room 262
The comfort room: pass!
The room is located on the same floor as the reception area so there is no need for guests to queue in the elevator or walk up or down the stairs.

The first thing I inspected was the comfort room. During my
previous hotel stays, I did not take a bath anymore because it was too
difficult. I could not lift myself to get in the bathtubs. There was also no
space for a small chair where I could sit when I took a bath.
At Lima Park Hotel's Room 262, there is no divider separating
the floor of the toilet and bath so there are no difficulties getting
in the shower area. When we tried it, the water didn't flood the rest of
the comfort room. The racks also are low so towels are easy to reach. Plus, the
toilets are high enough so no trouble sitting and standing up.
The room: spacy
The space inside the bedroom is also wide enough for
wheelchairs to pass. There are two double beds with mattresses and pillows
having just the right amount of firmness.
Service: great!

Their staff are also very nice. When one of the staff saw me
walking in crutches, he offered to fetch me a wheelchair. I left mine
inside the room.
Come breakfast time, when all the guests were required to go down to their cafe for their free breakfast, my request for
room service was accommodated. They asked me to order from the menu and I was
not charged extra. In previous hotels I stayed in, I was asked to go down and take my breakfast at their buffet set-up.
Great hotel for everyone, not just PWDs
Lima Park Hotel is definitely one of Batangas' best. Aside from the uber friendly staff and spacious rooms, the hotel also boasts of great interiors. It got a resort feel and provide a magnificent sweeping view of nearby mountain ranges.

Lima Park Hotel is a 2.2-hectare hotel with 136 rooms available. Choose from Superior, De Luxe, Premiere Luxe, Suite, Executive Suite and the newly opened Governor's Suite.
I like the posh Governor's Suite, which features a master's bedroom, a guest room, a living room, a private dining area, a working kitchen, a jacuzzi, 42" LED TV with cable, a mini bar and a breathtaking view of the hotel's pool.
Want a big bed? They can combine the two beds and make them into one giant bed. How cool is that?
Aside from the restaurant, the hotel has other special facilities like the pool, jacuzzi, gym, meeting rooms, function room and ballroom.
Thinking of getting married? The Garden House is perfect for romantic celebrations. It is surrounded by meticulously designed gardens.
Even though I was there for work, it felt like vacation because the experience was so pleasant. Thanks to the thoughtfulness of the hotel owners, management and staff.
